Curly coated or Large dogs

Im sorry we no longer Groom the following:

Due to health issues we can no longer physically lift the following breeds:

German Shepherds

Over weight Labradors and retrievers.

Rottweilers

St Bernards

Bernese Mountain Dogs

Newfoundlands

Old English. OR Any dog over 30 KGs.

Due to customers neglecting the non-shedding curly coats as it stands we only accept crosses on 4-6 week rotas.

Bichon Frises and crosses of Bichon.

Poodles and all crosses of Poodles, ie Labradoodle, Cocker poos and all 'Doodles'

We do not encourage the breeding of any of these crosses due to their immense grooming needs of an hour a day minimum. Should you have one and need the coat shaving off completely every 4 weeks we may be able to help. Costs minimum £30 for this offer.

Unfortunately too many people buy them before learning that this is the hardest coat to look after, knots daily and needs a comb running through every single hair daily else the skin cannot breath, mats are formed and all you can do is shave the whole thing off like a sheep. Not Nice and NOT fair on the poor dog!

We will NOT inflict pain by brushing and trying to save a coat that is matted due to neglect only for the customer to do it again within weeks. We have too much experience to budge on our views. Book in regularly to keep them fluffy!
